EPDM Roofing

Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM), is an extremely durable synthetic rubber roofing membrane widely used in low-slope buildings in the United States. This replacement flat roof material comes in large, single-ply rolls and works well on large-scale areas. Its two primary ingredients, ethylene and propylene, are derived from oil and natural gas. EDPM flat roofs can last up to 20 years, but they do require a reflective coating (white top layer) to reduce heat absorption.
